UL Update Partnership Program

OTTAWA, ON (CANADA) January 1, 2014 – Arkalumen has instituted a new rebate program enabling OEM fixture partners interested in a fully engineered SSL solution to open and modify their current UL file listing to add Arkalumen products at no cost. The program opens the door for manufacturers interested in having more flexibility in their choice of LEDs and SSL solutions that are currently locked in with suppliers offering limited SKU and chip options.

With the continual rapid performance improvements in technology, Arkalumen has positioned itself with an agnostic approach to LED chip manufacturers. In announcing the new partnership program, Arkalumen CEO Sean Murray indicated “We see our OEM fixture customers as our partners. It is our role to represent them first and foremost and provide the most current and best engineered options to assist them in producing world class LED fixtures”. The program applies to UL, CSA, ETL or equivalent files that may require updating in order to add Arkalumen’s UL recognized products.
