Ottawa (CANADA) – October 24, 2018. Ottawa-based Arkalumen, Inc. announced today that it is launching a wireless Casambi version of their APT-HX5 controller. A beta version of the controller has been integrated into a customer’s horticultural fixture, and will be demoed at the MJBizCon show in Las Vegas, NV, November 14 to 16, 2018.
Arkalumen designed the HX5 controller specifically for horticulture applications. It can precisely control up to five high-power channels (up to 15A, 1000W overall), flicker-free, giving horticulturalists the option to design spectra by adjusting power to five channels of different LEDs. The HX5 controller allows for the spectra to be programmed for a set grow cycle or to be dynamically controlled as needed for different applications.
“We listened to our clients, and responded with this integration with Casambi,” said Sean Murray, President. “We are excited to integrate Casambi’s Bluetooth Mesh technology into our HX5 controller, resulting in a user-friendly interface that’s easy to implement within a reliable wireless architecture. We have more wireless options in our pipeline for the HX5 controller. Arkalumen’s innovations will improve the way today’s agricultural experts grow their crops.”
