OTTAWA, ON (CANADA) March 1, 2014 – Arkalumen is pleased to announce the introduction of its latest line of LED light engine modules which use the new Cree XH-G mid-power ceramic LED. This new set of light engines includes eight models of one foot and two foot strips as well as ten models of LED arrays. These high efficacy product offerings can increase both lumens per dollar and lumens per watt compared to competitive products on the market today depending on the customer’s requirements.
The Cree XH-G LED is built in a ceramic package designed to withstand high temperature conditions and can facilitate critical heat dissipation to the Arkalumen metal-core board. Even at 105°C and 175mA/LED, the L70 longevity of the solution is calculated to be over 100,000 hours, thus enabling its use in high ambient temperature environments and being ideal for many high lumen industrial applications. According to Arkalumen CEO Sean Murray “This new product offering is ideally suited for high lumen fixtures such as High Bay applications, allowing our customers to launch competitively priced product offerings at wattage levels significantly below current fixtures on the market.”
